The sun does not discriminate. It doesn't matter if you're on the beach or in the shade of a city café. UVA and UVB rays work silently, all year round, and especially in months like May – when the temperature rises but the summer consciousness is still a little slow to "wake up".
As beauty lovers, responsible beings with skin we want to love in our 20s, 40s, and 60s, it's time to redefine our relationship with sun protection. Because it's not just another step in our routine — it's the most crucial!

Starting with the obvious. Yes, SPF on your face. Every day. All year round. You know it. You hear it everywhere. You read it every year around this time. But do you do it?;
If facial sunscreen isn't yet an integral part of your morning routine, you may need a new approach.
Find the texture that suits you in gel, light emulsion, matte cream or tinted fluid. Combine it with skincare you already love as there are excellent SPF with hyaluronic, vitamin C or niacinamide.
Use it without fear and with passion, at least 1/2 teaspoon for the face and neck. Your skin will thank you in the future!

The “unseen” heroes – Lips, ears, neck
If you're one of the 90% people who forget to put sunscreen on their ears, don't feel bad — but start remembering. Lips need protection just as much. Invest in a lip balm with an SPF of at least 30, especially if your lips get dehydrated easily or if you use products with retinol or acids.
As for the nape and the back of the neck, they are areas that the sun "sees" first and later... the mirror, with signs of aging that could have been avoided.

Hair and Scalp – SPF isn't just for the skin
Our hair is exposed to UV radiation every day, and the result is not only dryness or fading. The scalp can also be severely burned and dehydrated.
There are now excellent leave-in sprays with sunscreen filters for hair, with textures that are not heavy or greasy. If you dye your hair, you need them more than you think.
Tip for partings
Apply a subtle layer of SPF stick along your hairline.
Hands & Nails
The skin that "speaks" about your age. Our hands betray our age and are rarely adequately protected. Think about how many times you drive, walk or work next to a window. Sunscreen hand cream is the new sacred addition to your toiletry bag.
Bonus tip: If you're getting a semi-permanent manicure, consider UV gloves for the lamp light or apply SPF before the session.

Sunscreen Routine in the City
You're not at the beach, but you're wearing a thong? Do you have open shoes? Are you going to lunch downtown? The sun doesn't ask you where you are. A body sunscreen in the form of a mist or emulsion with a light scent and quick absorption can become your ally in everyday life. Don't forget the neck, the back of your hands and the soles of your feet if you wear sandals.
Sunscreen and Makeup: Enemies or Partners?;
No enemies at all. Now, there are great products to re-apply sun protection during the day, such as SPF face mists, tinted sunscreen powders, and invisible sticks that apply over foundation without altering it.
Reapplying SPF every 2-3 hours is doable, as long as you have the right tools.

Finally, what does “full sun protection” mean?;
It means not forgetting areas. It means not underestimating cloudy days. It means seeing sun protection not as a “burden” or a “reminder of summer,” but as a daily ritual of self-care and self-love. Just like a good serum or a velvety moisturizer. Except SPF is the foundation for everything else to have real value.
